How to Make Christmas Cushions Easily

I would like to share a Christmas DIY video. You will learn from it how to make great festive decorations for your home simply and fast. You will see how to make cushions using easily accessible supplies. One of them is "Snowflake cushion" and the other one is "Stockings cushion". This will give your home a unique look and bring out your creative skills you never knew you had!

Supplies Needed

Red Pillow

Glue gun

Pillow white or cream
Glue sticks
Scissors
Cushion strings
Pom pom strings
Snowflake
Stockings
Feather garland

Step by Step Instructions

Snowflake cushion
Let’s start with removing the tag from our red pillow.
Then, we will be attaching the snowflake to it.
To do so, position the snowflake in the centre of the pillow and start gluing it using the glue gun. Apply glue by pulling the sides of the snowflake. You need to be careful using the glue gun because it becomes very hot.
For the next step, you will be using the feather garland that will be enhancing our pillow’s special Christmas look. Measure the required length and start gluing it to the sides of the pillow. Aiming for the pillow strings, trying to avoid gluing it directly to the feathers. Go around the pillow, pushing down the feathers with your thumb. And, you all done with snowflake cushion!
Stockings cushion
Start like with the red pillow, cutting off the tag. Then, try to arrange your stockings on the pillow in a way and position you are happy with. Next step is treading stockings to the cushion string. Adjust the height and arrangement of your stockings. All is left to do now is gluing the strings to the pillow. Don’t forget to cut the excess of the string.
Now it’s the time for pom pom string. Measure the length require and go around the pillow using your glue gun. When you finished remember to cut the excess of the pom pom string. And you second cushion is ready now to enjoy at Christmas!

Anybody can do it. No special skills required apart from using the glue gun and paying attention. What you get is two cute festive cushions that will give your home this amazing warm, Christmas look!
